Alex Teahen - Communication Liaison
Alex has worked with numerous animal rescues since 2008 in the Southern California area. She has an eye for those who need rescuing and can see the potential they have with the right rehabilitation.
Currently Alex is a Senior at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. She is pursuing a joint degree in Communication Studies and Journalism. During the year she co-runs RDR's social media platforms and during the summer she can usually be found at Maureen's home working on rescue projects or training horses.
Alex has her main college rodeo mount Stitch, an appendix gelding and her rescue rabbit Lilo.
Maureen Keo - President/Founder
Maureen has been in animal rescue since 2005, including both dogs and horses. Maureen has a passion for being the voice for those that cannot speak for themselves. Maureen has two young children, is married to an Active Duty Marine, and also works full time in the pharmaceutical industry.
Maureen founded Ranch Dog Rescue in hopes of raising the importance of the need for larger breed rescues pulling from high kill shelters right here in Southern California.
Maureen has 5 canine pack members of her own, in addition to two cats, 5 beautiful rescue horses, and 1 sassy mini donkey!
